3. Analytics and Tracking

On cinematic.watch (our marketing site):

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our site and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. GA4 may use cookies and collects data according to Google's Privacy Policy. This data helps us optimize our Google Ads and YouTube Ads campaigns.

On client Cinematics (hosted pages we build for clients):

We use our own custom-built analytics system. This system:

  • Does not use cookies
  • Does not store raw IP addresses (IPs are hashed with a daily-rotating salt and are never recoverable)
  • Does not track visitors across different websites
  • Does not use any third-party tracking scripts
  • Collects only anonymous, aggregate data about page performance

If a client has requested integration of their own analytics tools (such as their own Google Analytics property), those tools are governed by their respective privacy policies.

4. Cookies

Cinematic.watch uses cookies for:

  • Theme preference (dark/light mode) - stored in localStorage, not a cookie
  • Google Analytics 4 - performance and advertising cookies
